Blur

This weekend was a blur. A happy blur!
Papa came to visit, he saw DUMMY 3 times (2 "normal" ones, and one kid version) and we talked, and ate, and walked, and napped. It was perfect.
But I didn't take any photos. I didnt' take any!
I wish I had a photo of Papa on stage with the clowns, making a chicken appear. (Yes, he did.)

I love my Mom

Happy Mother's Day! I am a terrible daughter. Half way across the country, and I didn't mail her anything, and I didn't buy her anything. Of course I will call her today, but I call her EVERYday.

My Nest

I love my bathroom, because it's mine. After over a year in this apartment, I still love walking through the front door, and being home. It's my nest. My haven.
It's getting warmer. These are the temperatures we'll be dreaming of when it's 105 degrees and 90% humidity. My windows are open, and I took today off from temping so that I could be ready for the show tonight. I don't think I ever recovered from last weekend, and I can't be as tired as I've been - on stage. We're doing it again!

Home Stretch

It's crunch time in rehearsal. We have ONE week until first preview. I'm losing my mind with nervousness. I know it will all come together in the end, but I always forget.
I LOVE this show. I want everyone to love it as much as me. And it's my job to make it as good as I think it is.
I haven't scanned this roll of photos yet, so I took a digital photo of the photo.... not the best quality, but I really wanted to use this one.

Spring!

It's Spring!! It's really here.
Hung out with Thomas this morning, in my apt! We tried on shoes, snacked, played on the swing and slide at the park, and threw rocks in the lake. I'm exhausted.
Then I cleaned out my pantry, fridge and freezer for the Apt Therapy Kitchen Cure.
Feels good. So Good.

Inspiration

We read through most of what we have written of DUMMY last night. It's going to be good. I can't wait for people to see it. Well - not right away, we're not ready. We're still in inspiration mode.
